Junta forces carried out two drone bombing attacks on a village in eastern Pruso (KayLyar) Township, Karenni State, on the evening of September 8, striking at around 5:30 p.m. and again at 5:45 p.m.
One house was destroyed. A local resident said: “Yesterday evening one bomb was dropped. There’s a drone flying around now too. Some houses were damaged and destroyed.”
On September 3, another village in KayLyar Township was also hit by a drone bombing, which destroyed two houses.
Villages and farmland in eastern Pruso Township continue to face civilian casualties and property destruction from the junta’s near-constant drone surveillance and bombing attacks.
