The contacts of KySDP winner candidates were posted on the Kayah State Democracy Party Facebook page to facilitate communication with the people, said U Theh Reh, Secretary of KySDP.
“The intention is to show that we are ready for the public to contact us easily. It is for public for easy access to call our representatives’ phone numbers and we will do our best to help their request.”
He added that they would respond to what the publich are saying about the problems or barriers encountering in their area and would provide guidance at least if they could not help.
The Kayah State Democratic Party (KySDP) won up to eight seats this year election.
It said the National League for Democracy (NLD), which has won up to 20 seats in Kayah
State, has asked its party to launch social media sites before the election in order for people to be able to contact them when neccessary.
Some of the winners’ phone numbers were not answered when Kantarawaddy Times tried to contact them.
Although we have tried contacting the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP), which has won up to six seats in Kayah State,none of them has not answered us to date.
