The Commander-in-chief of Kayan New Land Party U Aung Min said the relevant EAOs and public are cooperating the quarantine program at government unreachable areas which they check whether the returnees infected coronavirus or not.
Kayan New Land Party, one of the EAOs, and public are cooperating for it at Pi King, Sibu, and Lade Tol regions located at government unreachable borderlines of Shan, Kayah, and Karen States.

“What this government supporting as much as they can is kind of having a bit gap with our government from Pe’ Kon Township. Since Pi King, Sibu, and Kayaw regions are a bit remoted from them, their management are quite delayed. As the regions are really remote, mostly we, Kayan New Land Party, and local people are supporting with obligation.” U Aung Min said to Kantarawaddy Times.
The COVID-19 check-gates positioned by Kayan New Land Party and Kayan National Health Committee are Central Check-gate, Kapu Check-gate, Pyin Mana Township (Nay Pyi Daw Council Area) Yay Pu Lan Hson Check-gate, Taung Salone Check-gate, Laydu Kaungphone Hsoe Check-gate, and Maung Bloc Check-gate.
It said they are conducting the scheme of transferring suspected case founded from those check-gates to government hospitals.
The Commander-in-Chief of Kayan New Land Party U Aung Min continued saying that there are some activities cooperating with government organizations for prevention of COVID-19 infection.
“This government administration group and our public administration group from our township are cooperating jointly and delivering the pamphlets, and also conducting awareness raising workshops” he said.

General Secretary of Kayan Women Organization Mu La Kaw Rin Ti said the community-based organizations from Kayan region is also supporting where they can regard to the prevention activity of coronavirus infection.
She said, “We mainly help checking passengers at the check-gate so far. Besides, as I said recently… we deliver and share the voice message, V-9, and pamphlets educated about coronavirus and provide the soap to Kayan Region which none of the organizations reached.
It said Kayan New Land Party donated the medicines worth 225 million kyats with purpose of COVID-19 prevention to Loikaw hospital, Deemawsoe hospital, Pe’ Kon hospital at southern Shan State, Sibu hospital at Pe’ Kon Township, and Tan Taung Township Lade Tol hospital in Karen State.
